Volkswagen Virtus: Global luxury vehicle manufacturer Volkswagen has launched the Virtus Anniversary Edition in India. It’s based on the top-spec GT Plus Sport variant and features additional features. The company has priced it the same as the GT Plus Sport. This will be a Limited Edition model, and according to reports, only 150 units will be produced.
New Exterior and Sporty Look
The Virtus Anniversary Edition is offered in a new Avocado Pearl exterior color, along with a black roof, black alloy wheels, red brake calipers, and a black boot lip spoiler.
Gloss Black Front Bumper Trim
The car also features a gloss black front bumper trim, dark finish headlamps, and taillamps, making it appear even sportier than before.
Gloss Black Dashboard Inserts
On the inside, the cabin features an all-black cabin and gloss black dashboard inserts.
What’s new in the features?
Volkswagen has also added some additional accessories to this edition. These include puddle lamps, front parking sensors, and a 360-degree camera. Furthermore, it also offers all the features of the GT Plus Sport. These include leatherette upholstery, red ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, an electric sunroof, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, an 8-speaker audio system, and paddle shifters.
In terms of safety, it comes with features like six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control, Hill Start Assist, and ABS with EBD.
Engine and Performance
The Virtus Anniversary Edition is powered by a 1.5-liter TSI turbo-petrol engine that produces 150 hp and 250 Nm of torque.
Price
The ex-showroom price of this special edition is ₹19.20 lakh.
