Voting continues for midterm elections in America, Trump's 'fire test', when will the results be announced?

Voting for the US midterm elections has begun on Tuesday, November 3. Millions of Americans will vote in this election. The race could shift the balance of power in Washington and determine the course of President Donald Trump’s second term. Voting has begun in many states and millions of Americans are preparing to vote. More than 58 million people have already voted in person or by mail. Voting began at 6 a.m. local time (11:00 GMT) in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Virginia and parts of Indiana and Kentucky, while polls are scheduled to open at different times in other parts of the country.

Local media in New York’s Westchester County quoted the Board of Elections as saying that the technical glitch with the voting machines, which we previously reported, was due to the paper ballots being “so thick that the machines were unable to accept them.”

Earlier, we reported that polling scanners started experiencing problems soon after polling began this morning. The Westchester County Board of Elections said in a statement that they are working to resolve the issue and are “trying to ensure minimal disruption to voting.” He also urged the voters to stand in line and vote.
