Material
- 4 boiled eggs
- 2 cups of basmati rice
- 2 large onions (finely chopped)
- 2 tomatoes (chopped)
- 2 green chillies
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1 tsp red chillies
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp biryani masala
- 2 bay leaves
- 4 to 5 cloves
- 2 Cardamoms
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- 1/2 cup coriander
- 1/4 cup mint leaves
- 3 tbsp oil or ghee
- Salt to taste

- Wash basmati rice and soak for 20 minutes. After cooking 70 percent, drain the water and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and add bay leaves, cloves, cardamom and cinnamon. Then add onion and saute until golden.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies and saute for a minute. Then add tomatoes and cook until soft.
- Add turmeric, red chillies, garam masala, biryani masala and salt and mix well.
- Add curd and cook masala for two minutes. Lightly chop the boiled eggs and add to the masala and cook for a few minutes.
- Add a layer of rice in a deep pot. Spread egg masala, coriander and mint on it. Create two such layers.
- Cover the pot and let it simmer for 15 to 20 minutes on low flame. Then gently loosen the biryani and serve hot.
