Legendary Pakistan pacer Wasim Akram has shared an urgent message for the young people.
The cricketer, who is considered one of the greatest players of cricket, took to social media to address the youth, advising them to limit their mobile phone usage.
In a video shared on his official Instagram, the bowler shared guidelines for the young people on how to use social media responsibily.
Akram said “Who wants to watch a half-hour-long video? It doesn’t matter how important it is; nobody will watch it. So, don’t send videos longer than two minutes.”
The fast bowler acknowledged that while it may be normal for Gen Z and Gen alpha to be avid phone users, it is not the same case for older people and they should not feel obligated.
Elsewhere, Shaneira Akram, the cricketer’s wife joked about people under 50 using phones in a separate video saying “Attention everyone, if you are under 50, keep messaging.”
The couple are active social media users and often share glimpses from their life with fans online.
