Tezzbuzz Desk- Rahul Gandhi has expressed his displeasure through an ex-post on sending the official spokesperson of Cockroach Janata Party Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka to judicial custody for five days. He has termed sending youth to jail for hoisting the tricolor as cowardice.
Rahul Gandhi wrote in his post, 'Hoisting the tricolor during a peaceful demonstration at Jantar Mantar is not a crime. Putting youth in jail for this is a sign of cowardice. Students, youth, journalists and INDIA alliance may be under different banners, but they all have the same objective.
He further said, 'All protests are the same – citizens are demanding their constitutional rights. Jantar Mantar belongs to the people of India. We will get it back.
