New Delhi: The south-west monsoon is now gradually withdrawing from many parts of the country. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted rain in many states in the coming days. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), conditions remain favorable for withdrawal of monsoon from Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and parts of Maharashtra. However, despite this, rainy season may be seen in many states.
Rain alert in these states including Delhi
According to IMD's forecast, there may be rain at some places in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi apart from Western and Eastern Uttar Pradesh between October 6 and 8. There is a possibility of change in the weather in the hilly states of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Rain alert has been issued at some places in these areas.
There may also be rain in some parts of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Apart from this, in view of the possibility of rain in Bihar, Jharkhand and Arunachal Pradesh, the Meteorological Department has advised people to remain alert.
Weather will remain clear in Delhi at present
The sky is expected to be mainly clear in Delhi-NCR on Saturday, October 3. The daytime temperature in the capital may remain around 33 to 35 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is likely to be between 22 to 24 degrees. At present the temperature in Delhi is expected to be close to normal. The weather is expected to remain clear in Delhi on Sunday i.e. 4th October. The maximum temperature on this day can be between 34 to 36 degrees and the minimum temperature can be between 23 to 25 degrees Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Department, rainy season may continue in many parts of South India, Northeast and Eastern India. There is also a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain in some areas. In such a situation, with the departure of monsoon, the weather patterns will be seen changing in different parts of the country.
