The weather in Bihar is once again going to take a big and sharp change. According to the latest forecast of Patna Meteorological Centre, there is a heavy possibility of sudden rain and thunderstorm in many districts of the state today i.e. on 26th September. Not only this, the strong winds blowing in certain areas can further increase the problems of the people, in view of which the Meteorological Department has also issued a yellow alert for the concerned districts.
Strong wind and storm in 19 districts
According to the information received from the Meteorological Department, severe weather can be seen in many big districts including West Champaran, East Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan, Saran, Buxar, Bhojpur and the capital Patna. Along with this, strong winds have also been predicted in Begusarai, Lakhisarai, Sheikhpura, Nalanda, Jehanabad, Arwal, Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Gaya and Nawada districts.
In all these districts the wind speed can reach 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. Along with heavy rain, the possibility of lightning or thunderbolt has also been fully expressed, due to which the general public has been strictly advised to take special precautions.
Strong alert of thunderstorm with rain
Today i.e. on 26th September, there is every possibility of torrential rain with thunder and lightning in all these areas. In view of the danger of lightning, the Meteorological Department has appealed to the people not to go under the open sky or in the fields at all and in case of bad weather, take shelter in a safe permanent house or place. Apart from this, when strong winds are blowing, it is very important to maintain proper distance from tall trees, electric poles and any weak or dilapidated structure to avoid any untoward incident.
There will be relief from 27th September, weather will improve
The relief news is that according to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is every possibility of the weather being completely normal in the entire Bihar from the very next day i.e. from 27th September to 1st October. No new alert has been issued by the department in any district of the state for this upcoming period. This clearly means that after September 26, the impact of rain and these stormy winds is expected to reduce significantly.
However, it is also true that sometimes sudden changes in the weather are possible at the local level, so to stay safe, people should keep a constant eye on the latest updates from the Meteorological Department.
