IMD has advised the general public to be cautious in view of the possibility of storm and lightning. Avoid taking shelter in open fields, trees or under electric poles during lightning.

For those who are planning to go out on weekends after the tiredness of working days, good news has come from the Meteorological Department. The torture of scorching heat is not expected to return in Delhi-NCR even on Saturday and Sunday.

June 13 (Saturday): It will be partly cloudy on Saturday also. There may be light drizzle with dusty winds in some areas during the afternoon or evening. The maximum temperature on this day is expected to be between 35°C to 37°C, due to which the weather will remain quite comfortable.

June 14 (Sunday): However, from Sunday onwards the effect of the pre-monsoon system will start reducing a bit and there will be sunshine. Nevertheless, due to light presence of clouds, the temperature will not rise suddenly and it may settle around 37°C to 39°C, which is close to normal.
This continuous rain and cloud cover has also improved the air pollution level (AQI) of Delhi, due to which Delhiites are enjoying very clean and cool air at this time.
