At some places it is the havoc of heavy rains and at some places it is the torture of heat wave! Weather will change in next 24 hours, see latest update from IMD
Weather Update 12th July: With the pace of monsoon slowing down in many parts of the country, heat and humidity have once again started increasing people’s problems. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the weather patterns will be different in different parts of the country on July 12, 2026. While there is a possibility of heavy rain and thunderstorm in eastern India and hilly states, strong sunlight and humidity can make people miserable in Delhi-NCR, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and western Uttar Pradesh.
According to IMD, due to weakening of rain activities in many states of the country on July 12, the effect of heat and humidity is likely to increase. A heat wave alert has been issued in coastal Andhra Pradesh on July 11 and 12. At the same time, due to less rainfall in western and eastern parts of Rajasthan, strong sunlight and humidity can trouble people. The temperature is also expected to increase in the plains of Punjab. Apart from this, due to mainly clear weather in Haryana, Delhi-NCR and Western Uttar Pradesh, there will be strong sunshine from the morning and there is a possibility of heat and sticky humidity throughout the day.
How will the weather be in which state?
