Heavy rains lashed many parts of Delhi-NCR on Saturday morning. Due to this heavy rain, water has accumulated in many areas and water is accumulating on the roads.
The Meteorological Department has warned of light to moderate rain in some parts during morning to afternoon. Many areas including Moti Bagh, Feroze Shah Road, APJ Abdul Kalam Road and Mandir Marg are receiving heavy rain. There is a chance of rain on Saturday night as well. Capital Delhi is expected to have a maximum temperature of 32°C to 34°C and a minimum temperature of 24°C to 26°C. A heavy rain warning has been issued for parts of Jammu and Kashmir, East Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Uttarakhand on August 22.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast, heavy to very heavy rains are likely at some places in East Madhya Pradesh on August 22 due to the formation of a low pressure area over Northeast Madhya Pradesh and surrounding areas. Rainfall is likely to remain low over Peninsular India in the coming days.
