According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast, heavy to very heavy rains are likely at some places in East Madhya Pradesh on August 22 due to the formation of a low pressure area over Northeast Madhya Pradesh and surrounding areas. Rainfall is likely to remain low over Peninsular India in the coming days.
