According to the latest forecast of the Meteorological Department, clouds will be active in many parts of the state and there is a possibility of heavy rain at some places. In view of this, an alert has been issued for many districts.
Trouble will increase in many areas of North Bihar
The impact of weather can be seen more in many districts of North Bihar. There is a possibility of rain with strong wind in many places including Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Sitamarhi, Vaishali, Samastipur, Champaran region. There is also a risk of sudden bad weather and lightning in these areas.
Vigilance regarding weather in Seemanchal also
The Meteorological Department has also asked to exercise caution in the districts of Seemanchal and Kosi region. Rain activities along with clouds may increase in Araria, Purnia, Kishanganj, Katihar, Supaul and surrounding areas. Along with common people, farmers also need to be cautious due to strong winds during rains.
Possibility of impact in South Bihar also
There are signs of change in weather in many areas of South Bihar including Patna, Gaya, Nalanda, Nawada, Jehanabad, Aurangabad. Here the wind speed may increase with rain.
Protection from lightning is necessary
Thunderstorms are the biggest worry during the rainy season. The Meteorological Department has advised people to avoid being in open places during lightning. Farmers have also been advised to get information about the weather before working in the fields in case of bad weather.
