Orange alert in these 11 districts
Orange alert has been issued in East Champaran, West Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan, Saran, Buxar, Bhojpur, Arwal, Aurangabad, Rohtas and Kaimur. There is yellow alert for the remaining districts. According to the Meteorological Department, strong winds can blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour in many areas. There is a possibility of heavy rain at some places and light rain at other places. There will also be a danger of lightning falling. Especially in Buxar, Aurangabad, Rohtas and Kaimur the weather may be worse.
Lack of rain even after three months
Even after almost three months of monsoon, Bihar has recorded less than normal rainfall. According to the data, 11 districts of the state are deficient in rainfall by 50 percent or more than normal.
