The trailer, which tells almost the entire story in just 4 minutes and 10 seconds, begins with a clip describing it as ‘the first fake film to gross 2000 crores’. This is perhaps the first trailer in Indian cinema that leaves you wondering when it will end. No view appears to be linked to another view. It’s another movie in a movie, and that’s its story.

In the trailer, most of the actors are seen making personal criticisms of each other as if it were a comedy. Sunil Shetty pokes fun at Akshay’s flops, while Jacqueline Fernandez is simply referred to as a glamorous face rather than an actress. Not only this, the direction only seems to mislead the direction of the film. However, mimicking Akshay, Sunil himself is seen cursing himself by hanging from the helicopter. Meanwhile, Daler Mehndi is given so much dialogue to make it look so impressive that it is almost impossible to understand.

Additionally, the film includes a Bhojpuri song titled ‘Ghis Ghis Ghis’, in which Akshay Kumar is seen getting naughty with Akshara. The song sees Khiladi in a completely new avatar, which fans found difficult to digest. The song has already become a huge hit. So, will the makers plan to woo the Bhojpuri audience and Akshara fans to the theatres? The answer to this question will come only after the release of the film.

A segment of the audience is treating it as less of a story and more of a buzzword. Many say that the trailer fails to clearly reveal the true story of the film. A little more could have been revealed about the climax.

The trailer seems to spend most of its time showcasing the starcast. The film has an ensemble cast of over 20 including Sunil Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Arshad Warsi, Rajpal Yadav, Krishna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda and Daler Mehndi. Not only this, but a gorilla is also mentioned separately. But the question is, who will shine in this huge crowd? Who will be judged with enough screen time?

In the guise of comedy, the trailer shows a lot of actors and attempts to create laughs even in 2026 with scenes of hoarse voices and screams, exaggerated reactions, jokes like unicorns, frogs, bus-rickshaws, etc. But many viewers did not see the smart humor and memorable characters that the ‘Welcome’ franchise is known for.
