Shobhandeb Chattopadhyay: Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress (TMC) has appointed Shobhandev Chattopadhyay as the opposition NPA in the West Bengal Assembly. Shobhandev Chattopadhyay is considered close to Mamata Didi for a long time and Shobhandev Chattopadhyay was also the Electricity Minister in the previous government of Bengal. Talking about Shobhandev’s political career, he has also been a union leader earlier. Shobhandev became MLA for the first time on TMC ticket by winning the election from Rash Behari seat in 1998.
Let us tell you that earlier on Saturday, Suvendu Adhikari took oath as the new Chief Minister of Bengal. With Subhendu Adhikari taking oath as the Chief Minister, the new government of West Bengal has laid special emphasis on social and regional balance in its first political message.

The five ministers who took oath along with Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari seem to have been selected not just on the basis of political experience, but as part of a strategy to give representation to different influential social groups of Bengal. According to experts, this team is an attempt to connect Bharatiya Janata Party’s policy of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vishwas with the social equations of Bengal.
Effort to help OBC community

Dilip Ghosh has been a big face of Bengal BJP for a long time and has a strong hold among rural voters. Besides, he is also recognized among pro-Hindutva voters. The OBC community plays a decisive role in the politics of Bengal and the BJP has been continuously trying to strengthen its hold in this section for the last few years.

In West Bengal, Suvendu government along with 5 other ministers were administered the oath of office and secrecy by Governor RN Ravi. Dilip Ghosh, Agnimitra Paul, Ashok Kirtaniya, Kshudiram Tudu and Nisith Pramanik took oath as ministers.
