Shai Hope gave a big statement on the defeat from India
West Indies captain Shai Hope said, 'You always point fingers at many parts of the game, but it seems that we did not score enough runs in the backend. I thought maybe we were a little too involved in batting. We were very aggressive about playing but yes, when you are playing in India, you have to put runs on the board. You should have a cushion of about an extra 20 or 30 runs because when you are trying to defend with the ball, the moisture on the outfield, the surface gets a little better. So you have to give yourself a little more cushion.

Hope further said, 'Sometimes you would like some more all-rounders to bowl, some different options for you, but today we just had to go with this combination. You know, we expected players to do well no matter what skill set they bring. But today against India we did not have enough to win and as I said, when you are setting targets, it is always more difficult here.
