'What do you want to prove by spreading rumors about my illness?' Mayawati's big attack on Akash Anand

New Delhi: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) national president Mayawati has once again targeted her nephew Akash Anand while talking to the media on Sunday. He said that the rumor about his ill health was being spread deliberately, due to which he himself had to come in front of the media and clarify the situation. Mayawati claimed that her recent tough decisions taken in the interest of the party are not causing loss to the organization but are benefiting.

Mayawati said that generally she has been expressing her views on many important issues through social media. But this time there was talk of his illness, so he decided to speak directly to the media. He raised questions on Akash Anand and his supporters behind this rumour.

Mayawati is completely healthy: Alok Kumar

Referring to an alleged phone call, the BSP chief said that party in-charge Alok Kumar, who was present at his residence, had received a call from Akash Anand at around 10 pm. According to Mayawati, Akash inquired about her health and asked if she was ill. Alok Kumar told him that Mayawati is completely healthy and is busy in her work. After this Akash reportedly said that this should not be told to Mayawati and disconnected the call.

Mayawati said that she did not know whether Akash Anand's intentions were right or wrong, but she alleged that Akash is still not taking decisions with his discretion. He claimed that he is still working under the influence of Ashok Siddhartha.

Big change in BSP organization

Mayawati also informed about the changes made in the organizational structure of the party. He told that at the national level the organization has been divided into three sectors. Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand have been kept in the first sector, which she herself will monitor.

The remaining states of the country have been divided into two other sectors. Their responsibility has been given to different sector in-charges. According to Mayawati, she will take regular reports from these leaders and will also talk on phone if needed. The central in-charge of both the sectors will report in Delhi. Meetings will be organized at an interval of about one and a half months. The responsibility of these meetings has been given to National Vice President Anand Kumar, while the final report will be submitted to National President Mayawati.
