Materials:

  • Onion
  • cumin
  • Fenugreek seeds
  • Red chillies
  • Turmeric
  • salt
  • White urad dal
  • Chickpeas
  • Asafoetida
  • tamarind
  • Peanuts
  • Kadipatta
  • Garlic
  • Red chilies

Action:

  • To make the crispy onion chutney first, heat a pan. Add coriander, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, gram dal, white urad dal, pinch of asafoetida, tamarind in a hot pan and fry on low flame.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onion and fry till it turns red and crispy. Then fry peanuts, mustard greens, garlic cloves, dry red chillies in oil.
  • Keep all the roasted ingredients to cool. Put all the cooled ingredients in a mixer bowl and grind them finely.
  • Then add salt, red chillies and a little turmeric to the divided chutney and divide it once again.
