WhatsApp Update- With the new features of WhatsApp you will be able to log out in seconds, know about it
Friends, as we all know that WhatsApp has become the most popular instant messaging app of today’s modern era, which has more than 4 billion users all over the world, for these users the company brings new features, one such feature is coming very soon, this feature can make it easier for users to take a break from the platform for some time, without worrying that their chats, media or account settings will be lost. This messaging app is developing a new “Logout” option, let’s know complete details about it.
Logout feature shown in WhatsApp Beta
This new feature has been seen in WhatsApp Beta version 2.26.21.9 for Android. It’s currently only available to a select number of beta testers, but is expected to be rolled out to all users in the coming months.
The purpose of this feature is to give users an easy way to stay away from WhatsApp for a period of time while all their data remains safely stored on their device.
Why was this feature needed?
Till now, there was no official Logout option in WhatsApp. Users who wanted to take a break from the platform had only one option—uninstalling the app.
This process was often cumbersome, as users had to:
Later WhatsApp had to be reinstalled
Had to re-verify my phone number
Had to restore chat backup
Had to reset app settings
For those who wanted to reduce screen time or avoid persistent notifications, this was an unnecessarily cumbersome process.
How will the new Logout feature work?
The logout option will be available under the “Account” section in WhatsApp Settings.
It is expected to work like this:
Users can tap on the Logout option.
A confirmation screen will appear before proceeding.
Once confirmed, the WhatsApp account will be temporarily disconnected from the device.
Chats, media files and account settings will remain safely stored on the phone.
Users can log back in at any time and continue their conversations where they left off.
This means there will be no need to reinstall the app or restore a backup when you return to WhatsApp.
