New Delhi: This matter is once again in the news after the CBI registered an FIR in the case related to Disha Salian's death. Meanwhile, Disha's father Satish Salian has made serious allegations against many people. The name of actor Sooraj Pancholi is also included in these. Now Sooraj Pancholi has issued a long statement on social media and has clearly denied these allegations and any kind of contact with Disha Salian.
Sooraj said in his statement that for the last several years, through media reports and various discussions, his name has been linked with the alleged incidents related to Disha Salian's death. According to the actor, this claim is completely wrong, because he has never met Disha in his life.

What did Sooraj say on the claim of contact with Disha Salian?
Sooraj Pancholi wrote in a social media post that 'I want to say this very clearly! I have never met late Disha Salian in my life, neither directly nor in any other way. The actor also clarified the name of Aditya Thackeray in his statement. He said that he has never even met Aditya Thackeray in his life!
He further wrote, 'Frankly, it is very wrong and extremely disturbing that my name is being dragged into something that has nothing to do with me, especially when there is no proof or evidence linking me to this matter.'
'My statement has been taken 4-5 years ago'
Sooraj said that he did not react to these things publicly for a long time, because he did not consider it necessary to respond to every news that came out about him. But when the same things started coming to the fore again and again, he had to clarify his position.
He claimed that CBI and police have already interrogated him in this case and his statement was also recorded about four-five years ago. Suraj said that if any investigating agency needs any further information from him or wants to interrogate him again, then he is ready for it. The actor also said that he has no problem in cooperating in the investigation. He has said that he will be available for any kind of investigation.
'I have nothing to hide'
In his post, Sooraj Pancholi said that he has nothing to hide. He reiterated his point of fully cooperating with the officials associated with the investigating agencies. He also appealed that before adding his name to any case, the available facts should be properly examined. Sooraj also said that he would support a fair and complete investigation in the case related to Disha Salian's death. According to him, if the investigating agencies require any kind of additional information from him, then he is ready for it.
Warning on social media and TV news
In his statement, the actor also cautioned people about the discussions going on on social media and TV. He said that one should not form an opinion about a person just on the basis of some news, debate or something said on TV.
Suraj said that the headline of any news is not evidence in itself. Similarly, anything said in a TV debate cannot be considered a fact. He said that wrong or malicious things related to this case should also be investigated because it is not right to harm the reputation of another person on the basis of someone's death.
'Behind every name there is a real person'
At the end of his statement, Sooraj said that behind every name discussed on TV and social media, there is a real person, his family and his life. He said that he remained silent for a long time, but now he will not remain silent due to his name being continuously linked to that case. Suraj said that he has faith in the law and the investigating agencies and he hopes that the truth will come out after the investigation. He appealed to the people to rely on facts instead of speculations and allow the investigating agencies to do their work.
Serious allegations made by Disha's father
In this case, Disha's father Satish Salian's lawyer Nilesh Ojha has made many serious allegations. According to him, Disha was allegedly murdered after gangrape. He claimed that Disha had some evidence which pointed towards the links of an alleged gang associated with Aditya Thackeray with drugs and child trafficking and she had given this information to Sushant Singh Rajput.
Ojha also claimed that Disha's mobile remained in the possession of the accused between June 9 and June 17, 2020. However, all these allegations are claims made by the parties concerned and cannot be treated as independently verified facts. The actual status of these claims will become clear only on the basis of investigation and available evidence in the case.
