After the attack, there was chaos in the area and the attackers fled from the spot. Seriously injured Amir Hamza was immediately admitted to the hospital, where he is currently fighting the battle between life and death in the ICU.

According to the information, this attack took place outside the office of a news channel located on a busy road of Lahore. The attackers first surrounded Amir Hamza and then fired several rounds at him from very close range. The style of the attack has shocked the security agencies as it involved a professional approach with precise targeting and immediate disappearance.

Who is Ameer Hamza?

Amir Hamza has been one of the early and prominent faces of the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. He had laid the foundation of this organization along with notorious terrorist Hafiz Saeed. He is considered the right hand of Hafiz Saeed. He was the main face of the organization’s ideological propaganda and is considered to have played an important role in funding, recruitment and network expansion. According to reports, he has also been associated with the Afghan Mujahideen and is known for his fiery speeches and radical writings.

Hamza has also written a book

Amir Hamza was not only considered a terrorist face but also the ideological guide of the organization. He has been the editor of Lashkar-e-Taiba’s magazine ‘Majallah al-Dawa’. In the year 2002, he wrote a book titled ‘Kafila Dawat aur Shahadat’, in which fundamentalist ideology was promoted. This book and his speeches influenced many youth.

Ban in America, spread panic in India

The US Treasury Department has declared Lashkar-e-Taiba a terrorist organization and Amir Hamza has also been included in the list of internationally banned terrorists. In 2018, after the crackdown on Lashkar-related organizations in Pakistan, he tried to differentiate himself, but later he formed a new organization named ‘Jaish-e-Mankafa’.

According to intelligence reports, Amir Hamza’s name has been linked to many terrorist conspiracies and attacks in India. He remained an active part of the terror network for a long time and continued spreading his activities in different areas.
