- During his tenure, NBCC is said to have got ‘Navratna’ status. It has also been claimed to increase the company’s order book from Rs 5,000 crore to Rs 1.2 lakh crore through digital governance.
- Dr Mittal is said to be the founder of the more than Rs 30,000 crore ‘zero-cost’ self-financing redevelopment model like Kidwai Nagar, Moti Bagh and Naoroji Nagar.
- Apart from this, he is also said to have played a major role in the completion of more than 40,000 flats of the troubled Amrapali project and the resolution of Jaypee Infratech.
- According to the information given, the Supreme Court had also appointed Dr. Anup Kumar Mittal in the three-member high-level panel formed to complete Supertech’s ‘Supernova’ project and the insolvency process related to it.
- Apart from this, he worked as an Honorary Technical Member i.e. Pro Bono Technical Member in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple Construction Committee of Ayodhya. The role is said to be responsible for overseeing traditional stone construction that will last for 1,000 years.
- The scope of his work is not limited to India only. His contribution to international construction works like the Supreme Court of Mauritius and the Maldives Police Academy as well as the construction of AIIMS hospitals and over 10,000 km of PMGSY roads has also been mentioned.
- At present, Dr. Mittal is said to be the founder of AIDA Management Consultants. Apart from this, he is said to be working as an independent director on the boards of big companies like Hindustan Zinc, Berger Paints and JSW Infrastructure.

It is claimed that he used to immediately type the topics discussed in the meeting. Thus, in the alleged letter, Dr. Anup Mittal has been described as playing an active technical role along with Nripendra Mishra in the meetings of the temple construction committee.
