On-duty flydubai crew secured the aircraft
Following the incident, the airline said the aircraft was successfully secured by on-duty flydubai crew traveling on board the flight, who diverted the aircraft and landed safely at Tabuk Airport. It also said that all passengers and crew on board the plane were safe and had been located and that two replacement aircraft were deployed to Tabuk to evacuate the passengers and crew. “This incident will not have any impact on other scheduled operations on the flydubai network,” an airline spokesperson said.
