Who is the new 'Tamim Iqbal' of Bangladesh? Scored the first test century in Australia

Bangladesh opener Tanjid Hasan has created history by scoring a century in the first test against Australia. He has become the first Bangladeshi batsman to score a Test century in Australia. After lunch on the second day (14 August) of this match being played in Darwin, Tanjid completed his first Test century in 188 balls by pushing the ball of Nathan Lyon towards long off.

While taking his 100th run, he jumped up and waved his fist in the air and then took off his helmet and looked towards the sky. After this he kissed the helmet and after taking a sigh of relief he accepted the greetings of the audience. This 25-year-old left-handed opening batsman made his Test debut against Pakistan in May this year, in which he was able to add only 30 runs in both the innings.

Leaving behind the disappointment of an ordinary start to his Test career, Tanjid has shown with his century in Darwin why he is being called the superstar of Bangladeshi cricket in the times to come.
