Who suddenly came to meet Modi as soon as he returned to India? The great game started in the Mediterranean Sea

New Delhi: As soon as Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to India after completing his important tour of five countries, a very special guest reached New Delhi to meet him. With this meeting, a very big game has started in international politics, for which PM Modi himself has started preparing.

This person, who is seen standing shoulder to shoulder with PM Modi, is none other than a staunch opponent of one of India’s biggest enemies. However, their country, which is considered a staunch friend of India, is currently facing a huge crisis. In connection with this serious crisis, he came to India and had a very special meeting with PM Modi.

Türkiye’s staunch enemy and India’s special friend

Actually, we are talking about Cyprus, a small but strategically important country for India. Cyprus President Nicos Christodoulides is currently on a visit to India. Let us tell you that there is a figure of thirty-six between Cyprus and Türkiye. Türkiye is the same country which always spews venom against India and in support of Pakistan on global forums. Now Israel is also going to enter this whole matter and a big game can start there too, because Israel also has staunch enmity with Turkey.

There are reports that Turkey is preparing to pass such a dangerous law in its parliament in the coming days, which if implemented, could destroy Cyprus forever. The surprising thing is that this new law of Türkiye will have a very bad impact on India also. At this critical juncture, the President of Cyprus stood in front of PM Modi and gave a statement which created a stir in the Turkish capital Ankara.

What is Türkiye’s ‘Blue Homeland’ plan that scares Cyprus?

To understand this entire controversy, we have to go back a little. Just as Pakistan has illegally occupied a part of Indian Kashmir (PoK), Turkey has also illegally occupied about 35% of the northern area of Cyprus. Türkiye has been continuously making anti-India statements regarding Kashmir in international forums. Responding to Turkey in its own language, PM Modi had already made it clear that India fully supports the sovereignty, integrity and security of Cyprus. This simply means that PM Modi had openly declared that the part of Cyprus which is under Turkish occupation actually belongs to Cyprus.

On June 16 last year, the President of Cyprus himself took PM Modi to the border beyond which Turkey is under illegal occupation. Türkiye was upset after this incident and was planning to take revenge for the last few months. Now Turkey has announced that it is going to pass the ‘Blue Homeland’ (Mavi Vatan) policy as a law in its parliament.

This ‘Blue Homeland’ principle is actually a very aggressive maritime plan of Turkey, the aim of which is to completely occupy all the maritime areas around it and the natural resources present there. Cyprus alleges that through this law Türkiye wants to grab their gas reserves and is trying to capture their maritime areas.

Crisis on India’s ‘IMEEC’ dream project

Cyprus has warned India that Türkiye, in the name of this law, wants to control the very strategic routes of the Mediterranean Sea. Let us tell you that this is the same sea area from where India’s mega project i.e. ‘India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor’ (IMEEC) and Israel will reach Europe via the route. This entire area is called the ‘Gateway to Europe’. Turkey is bringing a law in its Parliament to block this very important sea route, but the game changed when the President of Cyprus himself visited India at the last moment.

Will a new ‘Mediterranean Quad’ be formed to surround Turkey?

Cyprus President Nicos Christodoulides, who is on India tour, stood in front of PM Modi and expressed his views openly. “We wholeheartedly thank India for its unconditional support of our independence and sovereignty,” he said. Along with this, he strongly supported the permanent seat for India in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), increasing India’s stature on the global stage.

According to the news coming from the diplomatic corridors, now a big game plan is being prepared behind the scenes to end this bullying of Turkey forever. To surround Turkey from all sides, Cyprus, India, Israel and Greece are preparing to form a new ‘Mediterranean Quad’, talks about which have now intensified.
