To fulfill Aravan’s wish, Lord Krishna took the form of Mohini. In the form of Mohini, she married Aravan and fulfilled his last wish. This marriage was not just a ritual, but is considered a symbol of God giving importance to the respect and feelings of his devotee. The next day Aravan dedicated his head to the goddess for religion and victory. After this, Lord Krishna in the form of Mohini expressed grief like a widow, which gives the message that he performed this marriage with full devotion and emotion.

The Kinnar community also considers him as their worshipable deity and special religious events are organized in his honor at many places.
