Sonakshi and Zaheer told that they initially tried to avoid questions related to dating, but failed because Salman already knew everything. Zaheer said, “They saw us even before we told them. They already knew.” Sonakshi told that Salman had seen us together many times and whenever we asked people, we used to deny that there was nothing like that. After this, one day Salman Khan said, ‘Look, one day you guys will have a breakup. You will come from here and cry, he will come from there and cry. I love you both, and I don’t want to take sides.’ Sonakshi said that both of them were stunned after hearing Salman’s words because by now Sonakshi and Zaheer had understood that Salman Khan had come to know about their relationship.

Met at Salman Khan’s party

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal met at Salman Khan’s party. The two started dating in 2017 and kept their relationship away from the public eye for many years. They even worked together in the film ‘Double XL’ in 2022. Later in June 2024, the couple got married in a civil ceremony under the Special Marriage Act. They held a registered marriage ceremony at Sonakshi’s Mumbai residence and got married in a private ceremony in the presence of family and close friends.
