A new chapter has started in the politics of Bihar, when Samrat Chaudhary took oath as the Chief Minister of the state at Lok Bhawan on Wednesday. Immediately after taking the oath, he reached the Secretariat without any delay and took charge of his post. His responsibilities started as soon as he became the Chief Minister and he also indicated to speed up the administrative work.
Mamta Kumari’s reaction
After the swearing in, the reaction of Samrat Chaudhary’s wife Mamta Kumari also came to light. On this occasion, she expressed her gratitude towards the people of Bihar, thanked everyone and wished the Chief Minister all the best. He said that this responsibility is big and he hopes that positive work will be done for the development of the state.

Shortly after assuming the post of Chief Minister, Samrat Chaudhary directly reached the Secretariat, where he formally took charge of the office. Along with this, he held an important meeting with senior officials. Principal Secretaries and top officials of various departments were present in this meeting. The main objective of the meeting was to streamline the administrative system and speed up the work.
Chief Minister gave instructions to officials
During the meeting, the Chief Minister gave clear instructions to the officials that the general public should not have to visit offices again and again for government services. He said that the administration should develop such a system by which people’s complaints can be resolved quickly and effectively. Apart from this, he also stressed on promoting the use of technology so that services can become more transparent and accessible.
Samrat Chaudhary’s wife Mamta Kumari is an advocate by profession. She maintains distance from active politics, but openly expresses her opinion on social concerns, especially issues like women empowerment. Mamta Kumari has a simple personality and she generally likes to stay away from public discussions and media headlines.
Indications of giving priority to public interest
