Chennai. Amidst the ongoing discussions regarding Tamil cinema superstar Dhanush's entry into politics, the actor has reacted to speculations about moving ahead with the support of BJP. He clearly said that no political party or individual is behind him. He has the guidance of God, the support of fans and the support of the public.
Dhanush said this in the audio launch program of his upcoming film 'Om'. He said that many types of rumors are being spread about him. Some people are claiming that someone is standing behind them and some people are supporting them, but they are being guided by God and their fans and the public are with them.
Fan club converted into welfare organization
Speculations about Dhanush's political activism intensified when he transformed his fan club into a welfare organization called 'Dhanush Narapani Iyakkam'. The organization has come forward with a plan to start free tuition centers for school students in 234 assembly constituencies of Tamil Nadu. There is a proposal to provide help in studies to the students of class 10th and 12th at these centres.
