Will the atmosphere deteriorate again against Gyanesh Kumar? Opposition made a big plan, now the next demonstration will be held on this day

New Delhi: The opposition alliance against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar INDIA is set to launch the second phase of protests in November. According to sources, the movement may be further intensified after the proposed rally at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi on November 1. Leaders of opposition parties are currently brainstorming the next strategy of the movement. According to the information, the options being considered include proposals ranging from taking out a big march once again in Delhi to organizing a mock Parliament.

Mock Parliament and March Proposal

CPM General Secretary MA Baby said that many options are under discussion. He said that after the response to the march taken out in Central Delhi in October, some leaders are in favor of holding a big demonstration again on the same lines. The second proposal is to organize a mock parliament, in which the impeachment process against the Election Commissioner will be symbolically staged. There is a plan to call legal experts and former judges, where one side will put forward allegations and the other side will respond.

Protest will continue until demands are met: Congress

A senior Congress leader said that the final decision has not been taken yet, but preparations are going on at the top level. He said that the party leadership has already made it clear that the protest will continue until the demands are met. Let us tell you, on October 9, opposition leaders had met President Draupadi Murmu and demanded the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner.

Along with this, a demand was also made to withdraw the law of 2023, in which the Chief Election Commissioner and other commissioners have been given security after their tenure. The opposition had also sought to stop the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list and restore the names of the allegedly removed voters. Following this, the opposition also filed a petition in the Supreme Court, alleging that the collective powers of the Election Commission were used unilaterally during the SIR. The petition demands fairness of the electoral process and protection of voting rights.

INDIA alliance will form coordination committee

Thousands of workers and students took part in the opposition march in central Delhi in the second week of October. There was a pause of a few days in the movement due to Navratri and Durga Puja. Now after the rally on November 1, further strategy will be decided by forming a coordination committee, in which students and civil society organizations will also be involved.
