After reaching the final here for the second consecutive time, 24-year-old Sinner said, ‘The beginning of the tournament is always difficult, especially coming here I feel that every round is different because of the grass. A lot of changes keep happening in it. You have to adapt yourself accordingly. I knew mentally that today I had to raise my level – which I have done – so I am very happy.

Third Czech player crowned in women’s singles today in 4 years
Meanwhile, on Saturday, in the women’s singles on the Center Court, a Czech player will be crowned for the third time in the last four years, when Karolina Muchova and Linda Noskova will face each other. Earlier, Marketa Vondrousova in 2023 and Barbara Kresikova in 2024 have won the title here.

Talking about Karolina Muchova, ranked 10th in the WTA Tour, she has reached her first Wimbledon final despite being allergic to grass. 29-year-old Muchova, the 2023 French Open runner-up, defeated seventh seed American Coco Gauff 6-2, 1-6, 7-6 (12-10) in a struggle that lasted for two hours and 35 minutes.
In another semi-final, ninth seed Noskova defeated 12th seed Ukrainian Marta Kotsyuk 6-4, 6-4 in one hour and 19 minutes. “I have so many superstitions that I can’t even name them,” World No. 12 Noskova revealed in an interview after reaching her first career Grand Slam final.
Muchova had won her only previous meeting with Noskova in the third round of the 2025 US Open. Now it remains to be seen who wins this time. However, this will be the first time since Serena defeated Venus Williams in 2009 that two players from the same country will play in the women’s singles final at Wimbledon.
