The Harry Kane-led side ended up drawing the match after having previously won their World Cup opener against Croatia.
A self-proclaimed witch doctor has now said he is lifting an alleged curse on Harry after he missed a golden chance in Tuesday’s 0-0 World Cup draw with Ghana.
The spiritualist is the same viral guru who previously claimed responsibility for a knee injury suffered by Cristiano Ronaldo.
The person, identified as Nana Kwaku Bonsam, calls himself the world’s most powerful spiritualist.
“I am the most powerful spiritualist in the whole world. Now, I am going to release Harry Kane so that, his next match, he can score,” he said.
Nana added “Harry, I will come and visit you. Don’t be offended. We are friends.”
He posted a video on Facebook following Harry’s missed opportunity in Boston, saying he would “release” the England striker ahead of his next match while appearing to perform a ritual involving several objects.
