How many crores will the prize money be for winning the T20 World Cup?

ICC has significantly increased the prize pool for this World Cup. This time, the champion team will get $2.34 million (over ₹22 crore) and the runner-up will get $1.17 million (about ₹11 crore). Additionally, a participation fee of $247,500 (approximately ₹2 crore) has been confirmed for each team. The teams that lose in the semi-finals and are out of the tournament will not have to return empty handed. The losing team will receive approximately ₹6.56 crore (approximately ₹6.56 crore).

ICC has fixed prize money not only for knockout matches but also for league stage matches. Each team will receive a bonus of approximately ₹29 lakh (approximately ₹2.9 million) for every win during the group stage. 12 teams will play for the first time
