From January to September, Spain recorded 90.9 million international air passengers, up 5.2% from the same period in 2025.
The increase in international air passenger traffic comes as Spain benefits from a tourism boom amid global uncertainty.
Thanks to its reputation, the country received 70.4 million international tourists between January and August, a 5.4% year-on-year increase.
Spain is forecast to welcome around 43 million international visitors between June and September 2026, marking a 6% increase compared to the same period last year.
Their total spending is projected to reach approximately €64 billion (US$73 billion), up 10%.
