Will be launched in India on 8th September
Xiaomi UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W will be launched in India on September 8, 2026. Along with this, the company will also introduce Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 10000 45W. At present, the company has not disclosed the Indian price and sale date of both the power banks. Their price may be revealed during the launch.
Just 6mm thin and weighs 98 grams
The biggest feature of this power bank is its slim design. Its thickness is only 6 mm and weight is about 98 grams. In such a situation, using it with the phone can be easier than a normal power bank.
Xiaomi has used Silicon-Carbon battery in it. The typical capacity of the battery is 5,000mAh, while its rated capacity is 3,000mAh at 5V. Normal and rated capacity differ due to power losses during voltage conversion.
Will charge by sticking to the back of the phone
Magnetic wireless charging facility is provided in the power bank. When you place it on the back of a compatible phone, it aligns to the right place with the help of magnets and can start charging.
It is compatible with iPhone 12 and later models with MagSafe support. Apart from this, some selected smartphones of Xiaomi, Samsung and Google can also be used. However, 15W wireless charging will not be available on all phones. According to Xiaomi, magnetic wireless charging on iPhone models is limited to a maximum of 7.5W.
Charging via USB Type-C up to 22.5W
If faster charging is required then USB Type-C port can be used. Through this the power bank gives wired output up to 22.5W. The special thing is that the user can charge two devices simultaneously through wireless and wired methods.
Heat control and many safety features
Despite having a thin design, Xiaomi has also taken care of heat management in it. It has a 4,369 square millimeter graphite heat-dissipation sheet and two NTC temperature sensors. For safety, it has features like overvoltage, overcurrent, short-circuit, overcharge and foreign-object detection.
Four LED Indicators and Low-Current Mode
Four LED indicators are provided in the power bank to see the battery level. For this one has to press the button present on the power bank. This button is not for manually turning on or off the power bank. Apart from this, Low-Current Mode is also available in it. It can be used to charge low-power devices like Bluetooth earbuds, smart bands and smartwatches. To activate it the button has to be pressed twice.
Price not disclosed yet
The price of Xiaomi UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W in India has not been revealed yet. At present the company has given information only about its launch date. Price and sales related information are expected to be revealed during the launch on September 8.
