Yami Gautam Viral Post: Bollywood actress Yami Gautam has expressed concern over the change in photographs and videos amid the increasing use of Artificial Intelligence. The actress has appealed to people not to alter her photographs taken during public events with the help of AI or any other technology. Yami says that it is not appropriate to change a person's photograph without his knowledge and consent, even if the purpose is to make the photograph look better.

While expressing her views on social media platform X, Yami Gautam said that her photographs taken during public appearances should be used in the same original form. He especially appealed to avoid making changes to the face, identity or other parts of the photo with the help of AI. The actress also requested people to respect her statement.
This appeal of Yami has come at a time when questions are being raised continuously about fake content created through AI and morphing on the internet. Cases of altering someone's picture or video and presenting it in a different context on social media are also discussed. However, in her post Yami did not directly mention any particular viral video.
Talking about work front, Yami Gautam is also in the headlines these days for her upcoming film 'Nai Naveli'. She will be seen in the role of Mohini in the film. This is a family entertainer film, in which a mix of comedy, emotion, fantasy and action will be seen.
As much as Yami's character in the film appears simple at first glance, as the story progresses, different aspects of her come to the fore. 'Nayi Naveli' is directed and produced by Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma. The film is scheduled to release in theaters on 16 October 2026.
