Mumbai Actress Yami Gautam's upcoming horror-comedy film 'Nai Naveli' is going to be released in theaters on October 16. There is curiosity among the audience about the film. Before the release, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) gave instructions to make some changes in the film, after which it was given U/A 16+ certificate. The duration of this film, directed by Balaji Mohan, is 2 hours 18 minutes.
What changes did the Censor Board make in the film?
According to the information, the examining committee of the Censor Board asked to amend the initial disclaimer of the film. In this, instructions were given to clarify that the story of the film is completely fictional and the relevant rules have been followed in its production.
Apart from this, a scene in the climax of the film was changed and the background music was also modified. The board also expressed objection to a dialogue of Yami Gautam and directed to make changes in it. According to the report, a total of 57 seconds of the content of the related dialogue was modified.
Instructions on masala eating scenes and intoxicants also
During the scenes related to eating masala in the film, it was asked to give a static touch to the visuals, due to which the related scenes appeared somewhat blurry. Along with this, instructions were also given to add a disclaimer against intoxicants in the film.
After these changes, the film got the censor certificate and the way for its release was cleared. The makers submitted the film for certification on 12 October.
