973 plots, 1.10 lakh claimants! Whose luck will shine today near Jewar Airport, YEIDA’s grand draw started

Today is a very important day for lakhs of people who dream of building their house near Noida International Airport in Jewar, Greater Noida. The lottery (draw) process for allotment of 973 residential plots under the residential plot scheme RPS-10/2026 of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has started today at India Expo Center and Mart, Greater Noida.

Under this scheme, 1,10,034 applications have been received for a total of 973 plots. Thousands of applicants are eyeing their fate in the draw process which started at 10 am. Successful applicants are being selected through lottery.

What did the officials say?

According to Yamuna Authority officials, the draw process is being conducted in a completely transparent manner through manual slip system. The entire process is being conducted under the supervision of the allocation committee and three observers, including a retired high court judge.

To ensure transparency, photography and videography of the draw process is being done. Also, its live telecast is being done on Yamuna Authority’s social media platform, YouTube channel, Doordarshan Uttar Pradesh and other electronic media, so that applicants can watch the entire process sitting at home.

There is tremendous competition for plots, know how many applications were received?

• 48,920 applications have been received for 476 plots of 162 square meters.
• 57,620 applications have been received for 481 plots of 200 square meters.
• 1,528 applications have been received for 6 plots of 223 square meters.
• 861 applications have been received for 2 plots of 290 square meters each.
• 566 applications have been received for 4 plots of 183 square meters each.
• 539 applications have been received for 4 plots of 184 square meters.

The competition has become extremely tough with more than 1.10 lakh applications received against 973 plots. Due to the rapid development taking place in Jewar Airport, Film City and Yamuna Expressway area, there has been huge enthusiasm among the people regarding this scheme.

At present the draw process is going on and lakhs of applicants are waiting for their fate to be decided. After the names of successful applicants are revealed, it will be considered a big step towards realizing their dream of owning their own house.
