Lucknow. Yogi Government of UP has taken strict action against the sale of fake cheese and dairy products in the state. The government has completely banned the manufacturing, storage and open sale of all types of analog dairy products in the state. After this new and strict order, now fake and adulterated dairy products will not be sold in the state. So that no one can play with people's health.

Many main and commonly used dairy products are included in the scope of this ban issued by the government. After this ban, now things like analog paneer, analog cream, analog ghee, analog chhena and analog khoya will not be made or sold in the markets. All these fake and adulterated options have been completely banned so that only real milk and its pure products can reach the people.
Why was this drastic step taken?
In fact, recently cases of selling spurious dairy products were reported at many places. Before taking this drastic step, Food Department teams in different districts of Uttar Pradesh had conducted a comprehensive investigation of the quality of milk and milk products.
During this period, officials had collected samples by conducting surprise inspections at many places. When all these samples were tested in the lab, very shocking reports came out. The investigation revealed that a large amount of dangerous adulteration was being used in these products sold in the markets.
During the investigation, several confirmed cases of adulteration of refined oil, different types of fats and soybean or its products in milk and its products came to light. This game of adulteration was going on at a much more dangerous level. The investigation report revealed that to prepare these counterfeit items, things like talcum powder, harmful detergent, titanium dioxide and liquid glucose were being mixed indiscriminately.

Dangerous chemicals were being used. Recent investigation also revealed that the scope of adulteration did not stop here, but many poisonous chemicals were also being used in it. Use of Cepholite, Ranipol, Tinopol, hydrogen peroxide and various types of harmful neutralizers to make milk and khoya appear thick or white also came to light. These fake products, being prepared by mixing such dangerous chemicals and substandard ingredients, had directly become a big threat to the life and health of the common man.

Under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, very clear and strict rules have been made in the country and the state. According to these rules, milk and any related product should always be manufactured and sold in its true and original nature. The milk and dairy products being prepared with such dangerous adulteration were proving to be extremely harmful for human health. One of the main responsibilities of the Food Safety Commissioner is to completely ban such deadly products. Fulfilling this big responsibility, the state government has taken this important decision, so that the people of the state can get pure, safe and nutritious food items and they can avoid falling prey to any serious disease.
