Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has released the detailed schedule of Purva Dasham (Class 9-10) and Post Dasham (Class 11-12) scholarship schemes for the financial year 2026-27 to provide timely scholarship benefits to lakhs of students of the state. This step of the government is being considered as a big effort towards making the path of education easier and eliminating the delay in scholarship distribution.
Master data will have to be uploaded on the online portal by August 5.
According to the government order issued by the Principal Secretary, Social Welfare Department, all the recognized schools of the state will have to compulsorily upload their master data on the online portal between July 22 and August 5, 2026. After this, the District School Inspector and concerned officials will check and verify the affiliation, seats and all other necessary details of the schools. Apart from this, the marking work on the portal of private schools of minority category will also be completed within the stipulated time limit so that the further process can go on without any interruption.
Important dates for renewal students
For students who are already availing the scholarship and want to renew their form, the process of online application and hardcopy submission will run from August 11 to August 25, 2026. After this, the work of biometric authentication, verification of the application and forwarding will be completed by the schools by August 30. After verification of student numbers at the district level and scrutiny of NIC, the Yogi government aims to send the scholarship amount directly to the bank accounts of eligible students through PFMS by October 2026.
Complete schedule of registration and application of fresh students
The online registration and application process for new students will start from August 11 and will continue till September 21, 2026. After the application is submitted, verification and NIC verification will be completed at the school and district level. After passing all these steps, the scholarship amount will be transferred to the bank accounts of new students during January 2027. If any mistake or doubtful information is found in the form of a student, he/she will be given a chance for amendment and re-verification to correct it. This complete digital and transparent system of the government will eliminate the scope for rigging and students will get direct benefits.
