Yogi government's bumper gift to the youth of UP: Now they will get jobs directly after completing ITI

A very relieving and hopeful news has emerged for the youth of Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, in a high-level action plan review meeting of the Department of Vocational Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, has issued several major guidelines to directly connect the youth of the state with employment. The Chief Minister has clearly said that the Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) of the state should be linked to as many industries as possible, so that the youth pursuing technical education can get direct job opportunities after completing their studies.

CIIIT centers will start soon in Gorakhpur, Muzaffarnagar and Bareilly.

According to the official statement issued by the state government, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted a thorough review of the progress so far of the 'Centre for Innovation, Invention, Incubation and Training' (CIIIT) centres. During this, he gave strict instructions to start the operation of CIIIT centers being prepared in Gorakhpur, Muzaffarnagar and Bareilly as soon as possible without any delay. With the opening of these centres, youth will be able to get a platform for advanced technical training and innovation at the local level.

Courses will be prepared as per the needs of the industries

During the review meeting, the Chief Minister laid special emphasis on the fact that new courses and practical training models should be developed in ITI as per the present and future needs of the industrial sector. He told the officials that 'Apprenticeship and On-Job Training' system should be promoted on priority basis.

CM Yogi said that skill development should not be limited to just local employment but should also be linked to global opportunities. For this, instructions have been given to establish constant communication and coordination between ITI institutes and various industries. Also, he asked to ensure arrangements for organizing job fairs at regular intervals at every divisional headquarters of the state.

Rejuvenation of 150 ITIs with the help of Tata Technologies

In the meeting, departmental officials informed the Chief Minister that with the help of Tata Technologies, the work of upgrading and modernization of 150 government ITIs of the state is being done successfully. Apart from this, the process of rejuvenation of 62 other ITI institutes is also being carried forward rapidly. In these state-of-the-art ITI centres, youth are being given practical experience of working on new technology, robotics and modern machines.

There will be benefit of speed and experience in the recruitment process of instructors

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath described the availability of qualified instructors in ITI as the most important link of quality training. He directed the concerned officials to complete the selection process for the vacant posts of instructors expeditiously.

Along with this, the Chief Minister took a big decision and said that in the process of regular appointment, a clear provision should be made to give appropriate weightage/Bonus Marks to the experienced instructors working on contract or temporary basis on the basis of their work and experience, so that the new students can get the full benefit of their experience.
