‘Yogi ji went to Ayodhya again and again, still…’ Akhilesh Yadav’s counterattack on CM Yogi’s taunt
National President of Samajwadi Party (SP) and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav has given a big statement regarding the darshan of Lord Ram in Ayodhya. Akhilesh Yadav has made it clear that he will go to Ayodhya to have darshan of Maryada Purushottam Lord Ram only after the construction work of Kedareshwar Shiv Temple in Etawah is completed. This statement of the SP chief has become a topic of discussion in political circles.
Actually, while talking to journalists here, Akhilesh Yadav was responding to the recent comment of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, in which CM Yogi had taken a dig at Akhilesh for not going to Ayodhya. Akhilesh said, “After the completion of the construction of Kedareshwar Shiv Temple in Etawah, I will definitely go to Ayodhya for the darshan of Maryada Purushottam Lord Ram. But the real issue is not about my Ayodhya visit.” Taking a dig at the Chief Minister, he further said, “He (Chief Minister) has been repeatedly claiming that he has visited Ayodhya several times, but despite this he had no clue about what was going on there. This absolutely proves the truth of the saying ‘darkness under the lamp’.”
If development works are audited then a big secret will be revealed
Attacking the government on the issue of corruption, Akhilesh Yadav claimed, “If this can happen in a holy place like Ayodhya, then it can be easily imagined what will be the level of corruption in tehsils, police stations and other places of the state.” He also alleged that if all the development work done in Prayagraj alone in the last decade is properly audited, large scale financial irregularities and scams will come to light.
The SP chief alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was only using religion as a cover to hide its shortcomings. Yadav said, “We socialists want from our heart that Sanatan Dharma should be protected, but today the entire business is being run under the guise of Sanatan Dharma.” During this period, he cornered the BJP government on the issues of employment, new recruitment, reservation and increasing corruption and also specifically mentioned the case of alleged misappropriation of donations to Ram Temple.
Chief Minister raised questions on the health system of his area Gorakhpur.
Akhilesh Yadav raised serious questions on the functioning of the government regarding jobs and poor health facilities in the state. He said, “When they talk about big jobs and employment, they should at least tell the people the truth about the real ground situation of their departments. If we look at the government data of Agra, Gorakhpur and other districts, we find that in the Chief Minister’s own constituency, Gorakhpur, only nine out of the total 77 primary health centers are functioning properly. Not only this, about 500 private schools have also been closed in the state.” Making a scathing attack, he said, “Now neither religion nor shame is left in the BJP’s ‘dictionary’. Their real priority is not to serve religion but only to earn money. For them, the policy of ‘Donation First’ and not ‘Nation First’ is supreme.”
Akhilesh exposed Ram temple donation theft case
Expressing his views on the case of alleged misappropriation of donations to Ram Temple, Akhilesh Yadav said, “Who could have imagined such a huge fraud and betrayal of public trust? The CCTV footage there clearly shows how many times the cameras were deliberately switched off. Now after this truth has come to light, what else is needed to be said?” He claimed that BJP will face a crushing defeat in the next assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. Yadav said, “In the coming time, BJP will neither receive donations, nor offerings nor will it get any votes from the public. In the year 2027, Samajwadi Party will form a government with full majority on the basis of PDA (Backward, Dalit, Minority) alliance.”
Continuing his talk on the serious allegations of the temple donation scam, he further said, “Those who always falsely accused others of theft, today God himself has exposed their own real theft. What can be more shameful for a government than this? At a very holy place like Ayodhya, these people even stole the donations made in the name of God.”
Making fun of the CCTV footage, Yadav said, “Now the real meaning of ‘CC’ in CCTV has become ‘chanda theft’ and ‘chhadava theft’. The poor women of the village are now asking the question that if the offerings given by them with reverence are being stolen like this, then why should they make offerings in future?” Accusing the BJP of trying to change the Constitution through the back door, he said, “The public has completely defeated the BJP in the elections. Now those who have lost the elections are trying to achieve through the members of Parliament everything which the people of the country did not allow them at all. This country will never accept any such conspiracy to change the Constitution.”
