Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijit Deepke's grandmother Savitribai passed away on Saturday. He breathed his last at around 12.30 pm at the family home in Santuk Pimpri village in Hingoli district of Maharashtra. Abhiji Deepke was detained by the police as soon as he reached Delhi the same morning. The family does not know whether he will be able to attend the funeral to be held on Sunday morning.
Abhijeet Deepke's father Bhagwanrao Deepke told that his mother was ill for a long time and was bedridden. He said that Abhijeet is very close to his grandmother. According to Bhagwanrao, the family has not been able to talk to the son since his detention. They don't even know where Abhijeet is.

What crime has Abhijeet committed? family question
While going to Hingoli for his mother's last rites, Bhagwan Rao raised questions on the police action. He demanded that Delhi Police explain the legal grounds for detaining the son. He asked what crime Abhijeet had committed. Despite this he said that the family will stand with the son. According to him, Abhijeet himself has chosen this issue and he is not worried about it.
'Rape accused get immunity, why was the son arrested?'
Abhijeet Deepke's mother Anita also raised questions on the government. He said policemen went inside the plane and took him into custody. His question was what kind of governance is this. He also asked that if the government is not arresting the rape accused, then why is it detaining Abhijeet.

Anita told that before a trip she had warned her son that he could be detained at any time. On this Abhijeet had said that he wants to do something for the country and belongs to this country.
Will you not be able to attend grandmother's funeral?
Before coming to Delhi, Abhijeet Deepke had said that he was ready for arrest. For the family, Saturday was a day of political conflict as well as personal loss. Now amidst the preparations for the funeral, there is uncertainty whether Abhijeet will be able to bid farewell to his grandmother or not.
