Social media influencer Urfi Javed has denied allegations that she accepted ₹1 lakh for supporting Cockroach Janata Party chief Abhijeet Dipke and his party.
Responding to social media influencer Faizan Ansari, she shared a story on Instagram with the caption “1 lakh 1 lakh.” She then called Ansari a media-hungry person, saying, “You go and find out how much I charge for a reel.” She added, “The person making this claim, Faizan Ansari, is a ******. He’s the same person who told me Urfi is transgender. He’s a very media-hungry, chomu person. I’ll upload a reel for ₹1 lakh, and for no reason.”
Urfi also said that Faizan spreads fake news about her. Urfi expressed disappointment with Hindustan Times for publishing this report. In her video, she said, “I’m angry with Hindustan Times.” Why are you publishing such bizarre articles based on someone who has no credibility?
Allegations dismissed
She also denied allegations that she was paid to promote the CJP. Instead, the social media influencer and reality TV personality claimed that she suffered financial losses due to her support for the party. Explaining her position, Urfi said, “I haven’t received any money, my money is gone. There are so many brands that don’t want to work with me.”
People stopped working
She asked people to check her social media page and claimed that since she publicly supported the CJP, many brands have stopped working with her. The social media influencer further challenged the media outlet, saying, “If you prove to me that I took even a single rupee for this, I will deactivate my account that very day,” which is the basis of her income.
It’s worth noting that Faizan Ansari also made serious allegations against the Bollywood industry. He claimed that Abhijeet Dipak received money from Bollywood. According to him, Urfi Javed gave Dipak ₹1 lakh, while Poonam Pandey gave ₹20,000.
