Jagdishpur (Bhagalpur) – On the basis of secret information, police raided Jagdishpur Basti of Jagdishpur police station area and arrested a youth with about four grams of brown sugar. The arrested youth has been identified as Monu Kumar (25), son of Sanjay Sah, resident of Basti.
Police Station Head Ramchandra Singh said that after verification of the information, the police team raided the youth's house. During the search, police said that about four grams of brown sugar kept in 15 packets was recovered. After this the youth was arrested and the alleged drugs were confiscated.
According to the police, the arrested youth is being interrogated. Investigation is being done to find out the source of supply of brown sugar and the involvement of others in the case. Further legal action is underway in the matter.
The raid team included police station incharge Ramchandra Singh, SI Kumari Megha, Ajit Kumar and patrol team personnel.
