Youth Congress suspended more than 200 leaders, big action on distance from Rahul Gandhi's program

A very big and sensational news is coming out related to the infighting and organizational discipline within the Indian political circles, the country's oldest party Congress. The party high command has now started tightening the noose on the officials and workers who did not register their presence at a huge rally of the opposition 'Indi Alliance' and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi recently organized at the historic Ramlila Maidan in the capital Delhi. Indian Youth Congress has suspended more than 200 of its youth leaders and members from across the country with immediate effect, using the whip of disciplinary action. This drastic and sudden step taken by the party has created a huge panic within the organization. However, many of the leaders suspended after this action have openly expressed their displeasure and have seriously accused the top leadership of the party of adopting a dictatorial attitude. Let us know in detail what is this entire controversy within the Youth Congress, in which states this matter has fallen and how the suspended leaders have reacted to it. Big action by Youth Congress on Rahul Gandhi's absence in the rally, suspension of more than 200 leaders, discipline in political parties and gathering crowd in rallies has always been the main measure of his strength. The party had put in all its strength to make Rahul Gandhi's rally organized at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi a success, but there were many officials and workers from different parts of the country who could not attend this important program due to some reasons. Taking this very seriously, the top leadership of the party has initiated disciplinary action against all those leaders who had stayed away from the rally. According to the official suspension letters revealed, till now at least more than 185 members from a total of seven different states of the country have been suspended from the party. Not only this, quoting party insiders and reports, it is also being said that as the scope of disciplinary review progresses, the number of suspensions may increase to 500.

"Went to jail for 15 years for partying, fired for not showing up to a rally": Spilling pain of suspended leaders: After this sudden action taken by Youth Congress, many suspended members and office bearers have openly expressed their anger and surprise. He says that the party has ignored his years of dedication and hard work on the basis of just one day's presence or absence, while he had dedicated his entire life to the service of the party. One such big case has come to light of Youth Congress General Secretary Rohit Rajoria, who was removed from his post without any prior warning or adequate opportunity to present his side. Describing his pain, Rohit Rajoria said, "We have struggled on the ground for the Congress Party, many FIRs have been registered against us and we have also gone to jail several times. Will our loyalty for so long be paid this way just because we are unable to attend an event?"

Rohit Rajoria, while speaking to the media, said that he has worked with complete honesty for the party for the last 15 years. During this period, due to his active participation in various protests and movements organized by the Congress Party, about 15 cases (FIRs) were registered against him and he had to go to jail three to four times. Showing a card, Rajoria told that on the day of Rahul Gandhi's rally in Delhi, there was a program of his late uncle's 13th birthday in his family, in which it was mandatory for him to attend. He claimed that he had already informed the party leadership in writing about this family bereavement and compulsion and had told them that he would not be able to reach Delhi on November 1. Despite this, his immediate dismissal from the post citing absence from just one program is proof of how arbitrary the organization's attitude has become. He raised the question that if the party behaves like this with its own loyal workers, how can it expect to return to power in the future. In which states the biggest action was taken? Many states have come under the ambit of this nationwide disciplinary action taken by the Youth Congress, with Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat at the top. According to the data released by the organization, the biggest punishment has fallen on the youth leaders of Madhya Pradesh, where 60 members alone have been suspended. After this, suspension action has been taken against 49 members in Gujarat and 26 members in West Bengal. Apart from these, if we talk about other states, 14 members in Telangana, 13 in Central Uttar Pradesh, 13 in Congress ruled state Himachal Pradesh and 10 in Haryana have been shown the way out of the party. This major upheaval within the youth organization before the elections and upcoming political challenges has once again raised question marks on the internal functioning of the Congress.
