As part of this decision, the entry and exit gates of 17 Namo Bharat stations have been closed. These stations will remain closed from August 4th to August 12th. Parking facilities at these 17 stations will also be closed.
The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) announced this on August 3rd, stating that the 17 Namo Bharat stations will be closed from August 4th. The NCRTC has clearly stated that this decision was made to facilitate the journey of Kanwariyas. For information, Namo Bharat is a train service that runs from Delhi NCR to Meerut. Duhai – Gate No. 3 and 4

The entry and exit gates of these stations will remain closed. Parking facilities will also be closed. According to reports, the stations on the Namo Bharat Sarai Kale Khan Modipuram corridor will remain open, with trains stopping there daily.
Why was this decision made?
National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) officials believe that this ban will reduce congestion on the roads, thereby reducing traffic congestion. All Namo Bharat stations will reopen once the Kanwar Yatra concludes.
