Drop by for speciality coffees like the Joker Twist Granita, Frost and Fortune Cold Brew or Brandy Barrel Aged Pour Over, then return in the evening for theatrical cocktails such as Forbidden Berries, Royal Bluff and Joker’s Poison. Janu By Blondie
Bastian Hospitality has introduced a fresh take on Indian cafe culture with Janu by Blondie. Open throughout the day, the cafe serves breakfast, speciality coffee, matcha, chaat, cocktails and desserts under one roof. The menu gives classic Indian flavours a modern twist with dishes like Raj Kachori Chaat, Palak Patta Chaat, Black Dal with Khameeri, Zaffreno Pasta, Malaiyo and Apple Jalebi. Drinks are equally inventive, featuring Rasmalai Matcha, Rasgulla Tiramisu Latte, Salted Mosambi Paloma and Don’t Jinx It. Angry Toast
This new neighbourhood cafe is all about perfecting the humble sandwich. Angry Toast spent a year developing its signature eggless brioche bread to create its bite-sized 3-inch sandwiches. The cafe also houses a micro-roastery featuring a professional South Korean coffee roaster, while its coffee programme is led by World Barista Championship contender Suhas Dwarkanath. Expect unique drinks like Taro Latte, Pandan Latte and Vietnamese Eggnog Coffee alongside sandwiches filled with Paneer Tikka, Chicken Katsu, Smashed Lamb & Avocado, Mumbai Toastie and more. One of the world’s biggest names in pizza has officially arrived in India. World Champion pizzaiolo Vincenzo Capuano has opened his first Indian outlet in Mumbai, bringing his famous contemporary Neapolitan pizzas with him. The highlight is the signature Cloud Pizza, made using a 30-hour fermented dough that creates an incredibly light and airy crust. Every pizza is served with golden scissors instead of a pizza cutter to protect the crust. Alongside classics like Margherita con Bufala and Diavola alla Nonno Enzo, the menu also includes India-exclusive pizzas such as Chicken Tikka and Paneer Chimichurri, plus antipasti, pasta, desserts and Jain-friendly options.
