According to the preliminary report of Chandranath Rath’s post-mortem, four bullets pierced his heart. Due to excessive bleeding from the body, many of his organs stopped functioning and he died due to multi-organ failure. After the completion of the post-mortem process, Chandranath Rath’s body will now be taken to his home in Chandipur. After that his last rites will be performed. Along with the police, CID is also investigating this matter.

Forensic team and CID officers have inspected the spot and collected some important evidence from there. At present the attackers are being searched. It is suspected that Chandranath Rath was murdered by professional killers.
