New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit five countries. The first stop of Modi’s visit will be United Arab Emirates (UAE) and after that he will visit Netherlands, Sweden, Norway and Italy. Amidst the global energy crisis, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit, especially to UAE, is being considered very important. Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, while giving information about the Prime Minister’s upcoming foreign tour, highlighted important aspects.

Jaiswal said, we have a multidimensional relationship with the UAE and energy security is an important aspect of this partnership. Energy security will also be discussed with the UAE during PM Modi’s upcoming visit and it will be considered how our existing cooperation can be further enhanced so that we can strengthen our energy security. Additionally, there will be discussions on trade and investment, with a focus on how to advance cooperation between the two countries. Also, we have a very large Indian community in the UAE, about 45 lakh people live there and issues related to their interests, welfare and well-being will also be discussed.

Apart from this, Norway, Sweden, Italy and Netherlands are big hubs of innovation. A lot of work is being done in the innovation ecosystem in India, so the country will benefit a lot from PM Modi’s visit. This country is far ahead of us in clean energy technology. We will discuss on all these issues. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, our policy and approach to purchasing oil remains the same as before which is based on the interests of 140 crore Indians. At the same time, we also take into account market conditions and the current global situation. On the Prime Minister’s call to the countrymen to save oil and not buy gold, the External Affairs Ministry spokesperson said, we can save as a responsible citizen and contribute to the welfare of the country. This is not a matter of just one ministry, but of the entire country and everyone should work unitedly.
