New Delhi. Bomb threats have been issued to the houses of Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh and Ludhiana Mayor Inderjit Kaur. This threatening email came this morning on the official email account of the Commissioner of Ludhiana Municipal Corporation. Taking this threatening email seriously, the administration has increased the security at the residence of Diljit Dosanjh and the Mayor. Efforts are being made by the cyber cell to find out from where this mail has been sent. The sender of the threat has also given the time and date of the blasts at both the places and has written that serial bomb blasts will be carried out till June 6.

The email threatened that Mayor Inderjit Kaur’s residence would be attacked at 1:11 pm. At the same time, a threat has been issued to blast Diljit Dosanjh’s house in his village at 9.11 pm till 6th June. The names of some specific people and organizations have also been mentioned in this email. The names of Khalistan National Army, Engineer Gurnakh Singh, Rukan Shahwal, Dr. Gurnivair Singh and Khan Razada are written in it. Security has been increased by the police in all sensitive areas. Additional security personnel have also been deployed at the Mayor’s residence and Diljit Dosanjh’s house.

During the investigation, no suspicious object or explosive material has been recovered from anywhere so far. The senders of the mail have also threatened that anyone helping Diljit Dosanjh will also be targeted. Along with this, provocative and violent language has been used in the threatening email while referring to the Sikh riots of 1984. Let us tell you that before this, some schools of Punjab have also received bomb threats.
